I’m right there with you. I liked that.
Yeah, just like in Pinkie Pride, except without an awesome song. Like I said, I was really glad to see that, makes it feel like Pinkie has grown a little.

I actually felt really proud, thinking: She finally bounced back in her own.
She still had 50 pounds of raw sugar in her system, thus the partial deflation.
I think part of it may be that this wasn’t a direct assault on her reason for being. Her status as a party pony isn’t in doubt, but she’s still terribly disappointed.
No, you could tell from the expression on her face that she was crushed. She managed to hold on this time and not have a psychotic break like she did in Party of One, though.
Between this and her recovery in “Pinkie Pride”, I think Pinkie Pie’s getting her psychosis under control. Either that, or she started on some more effective meds this season.
