Description
All great nations have even greater conquers. Thought popped into my head, took awhile getting all the designs right, but this is what I think Human Celestia would have worn in Equestria’s early days, for one cannot have a lasting peace without having to fight for it. Mainly inspired by middle age armors with my own personal touch. I’d love to know what you guys think about the design and feel free to point out anything that just doesn’t seem right. (I already know the hands and feet, I’ve been trying to work on those for a while.)
Not trying to take offense- tone just doesn’t always translate into text as well as we hope.
If anything, with this design, I’d just go ahead and either (a)pull it a little tighter around her neck (so that she’ll just wear the helm right over it), or (b)give her a lighter helm, open-faced (perhaps with an open-able visor), or a high, reinforced skullcap bracing a more flexible coiffe (but she’d need to tie her hair up for that one).
Any of those options should prevent the helm from getting stuck against the gorget. For added consideration, some monarchs would style a crown into their combat helm (presumably for battlefield identification as well as a display of wealth). This crown, of course, would not be the one she wears during the day-to-day affairs of court- it is actually a part of the helmet.
Sorry if you took offence to that, I was just trying to have some fun, I do appreciate the critique and I will remember that the next time I doodle something along these lines
You asked people to point out things that didn’t look right. If you don’t want the critique, then don’t ask. No need to be sarcastic.
