Don’t confuse ‘made up’ with ‘meaningless’. The inability (or unwillingness) to make that distinction has resulted in the deaths of millions.
Exept that this one has logic to it.
Justice is simply a made up human concept as well.

There is nothing of a higher importance than justice. Good, order, law, life and the universe are merely the things that are expendable to achieve it. Sacrificing lifes, even “few”, to save the universe is unjust. So fuck the universe and ultimately good, is what a few lives are to the universe and anyone disagreeing would be the only just sacrifice. In this case you, Kyubey and the universe.
He has no emotions and no concept of morality. From his PoV, he’s stalling the heat death of the universe at the cost of a couple of lives that would be snuffed out anyway in what is comparatively the blink of an eye.
Not to mention the PM he chose progressed humanity to its current state. And they get to wish for anything at all. There’s just that little lie of omission about the part where they either die a gruesome death or become the monsters they’re fighting and then die a gruesome death.

That does sound like a ultimately good thing though. It’s unfortunate that they have to die, but what are a few lives to the universe?
Blue And Orange Morality. You could rename the Trope to Kyubey Morality and it’d still fit like a glove.
The most twisted part that you forgot to mention is that kyubey HONESTLY doesn’t think what he is doing is wrong or evil at all.
Or if he does he makes one hell of a pokerface.
To put it short:
That is Kyubey, a alien that turns girls into magical girls by ripping their soul out, putting it into a fragile gem, and telling them to fight monsters. All magical girls share the same fate of dying or turning into the ones they fight. And he does all that because that gives him energy to stop the universe from dying.
