Plausible. Given how gender ambiguous innovators are he’d fine as alicorn I guess.
I remember one deviantartist mention this: ‘He starts as a normal human, gets saturated with GN particles which start transforming him into an evolved human, and he eventually gets psychic powers and fuses with a living metal alien species to become pseudo-immortal. So, kind of like an Earth pony becoming a Unicorn becoming an Alicorn… kinda.’
If this helps out making him fit with the fused 00 Ponies Universe that is. :)

Imho male alicorns are a big no-no. And during his childhood the alicornhood would stand out too much, when he was supposed to be one of but many brainwashed, expendable Krugis soldiers.
