No they won’t, and to be honest, I’m getting sick of people winging on that they haven’t. The worlds are based on Disney properties, not properties Disney happens to own.
 
If they ever do use any Pixar, Star Wars, or Marvel IPs as worlds I’ll eat my hat.

Dude, I own KH2. Of course I know about Pirates of the Caribbean being featured in the game! But they have yet to use anything Pixar-related in the games, which makes me question if they’ll even bother, at all.

You do realize of course that the newest IP Kingdom Hearts has ever used is Pirates of the Caribbean, and even then it was 5 years old at the time right? They weren’t “waiting for material” they were stuck working on a game that went through so many setbacks it is now a completely different game.

You’re right, Square Enix did prioritize the hell out of FFXIII and its spinoffs. Still, Disney really didn’t have enough new non-Pixar, non-crappy-direct-to-video-sequel material at the time to be used in a KH game.

There’s no Kingdom Hearts game for PS3 because the team that makes Kingdom Hearts were in charge of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which started development in 2006. Since that game kept getting delayed, so did getting back to KH.

Seriously, why no KH game for the PS3?! My guess would be that they were waiting for Disney to make more movies to base new worlds upon…

Also, they need to include Agrabah one last time! Why? Because the Agrabah scenarios in KH2 were loosely based on Return of Jafar, and the only way a return to Agrabah would be feasible, is to create a scenario based on Aladdin and the King of Thieves!

Don’t get me wrong, 307 images in the tags is good but it’s nothing compared to other things the fandom loves.
