Causation paradox; did future Rarity come up with that joke spontaneously, or is she just parroting what she heard herself say when she was past Rarity? If the latter, then from whence did the joke originate?
The joke is this, Rarity goes back in time and tells a joke. The past her hears this joke and then waits fooooooorever… To tell that same joke. She wasn’t kidding about having to wait a long time to make it.

Fun fact: I never actually decided if present-Rarty was in on the joke or was just reacting to it genuinely (and them found the joke hilarious). Left it up to the viewer to decide!
As brilliant as the actual lines were, I want to point out the more subtle touches: having present Rarity back up her future self with silent expressions during the surgery joke was genius.
I do not favorite a lot of images. But when I do favorite an image, that’s me loving it so-so-so much that I need something more than one upvote to express my love.
