Maud Pie was kinda meh to me, while I liked the breezies.  
And MMC sucked monkey balls to me.  
I’m quite surprised about these ratings.

Agree, some reviewers like Angry Joe find it absurd (I think) than the fans/haters eitheir gives the highest or the lowest note. I believe it’s also one of the reason why Total Biscuit don’t gives rating to the games he review, which are mostly 1st impression.

Duck - Shills for Shillary

S01 was pure culture shock.* S02 was like Lauren’s gone :(  
But then John de Lance showed up. and BLEW THE F’N DOORS DOWN. Then we got an even better villain at the end with Chrysalis.  
S03 was by far the worst Season though.  
On the whole I have to say that I’ve enjoyed S04 more then the other Seasons save S02 though.
 
*By “Culture Shock” I mean when this was actually still a Sting…

On the whole I think S04 has the best balance of Eps in it, along with S02. S01 was more of a culture shock that Ponies could actually be pretty cool for Once. Not saying that G1 might not have been cool. But that the “impressions” of G3.5 Tea Parties had pretty much condemned Ponies to being the butt of jokes.

We Crossdress Harder
The new season is new. Fewer people have rated it. The fewer people that rate it, the more individual variance counts. Come back after season 5 and see.

Sometimes, I just don’t know how stupid somes can be by 1; judging without making context and 2; liking an episode just because of a character.
 
I find the Mare-Do-Well episode ok and I like the breezie episode if you ask me, but I find Spike at your Service, Rainbow Falls and Somepony to watch over me to be meh.
 
Don’t let a chart or a review tell you which episode is good and isn’t to you. Watch and find the good moments and flaws of an episode.

Season 1 - Variable quality, but generally gets better as it goes on.  
Season 2 - Consistently good quality except for Mysterious Mare-Do-Well.  
Season 3 - Declining quality. (I’ll agree with this one)  
Season 4 - Absolutely no consensus on quality (at least as far as the trendline)
 
F!ck you, IMDB; I liked the Breezies episode, and Simple Ways.

Dat Season 4 Variance.
 
I’m surprised at the current highest and lowest. While “Maud” was (IMHO) the funniest episode of the series thus far, I felt like it was a little weaker story-wise. “Breezies” had some issues as well, but I certainly wouldn’t place it as the lowest.
