Description

As someone who draws and colors a lot of humanized ponies, this has always be a point of personal confusion for me. When Aloe and Lotus are humanized I always identify with the pink haired one more as Aloe, and the blue haired one as Lotus, even though technically it should be the other way around.

Should an exception be made for these two in how fanon treats their humanized hair color? It seems kind of like a can of worms to me because it’s less accurate, but at the same time I don’t know how else you can avoid mixing them up since Aloe is predominantly pink and Lotus is predominantly blue.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

It’s hard to imagine when it would ever matter, unless you have a headfanon that gives them completely different personalities.

It depends on how you look at them.

If you recognise them by coat color then sure thye seem to “switch” but if you focus on mane color then nothing really happens.

Simple way to fix it: have them wear pink and blue clothes. The one that wears pink clothes is Aloe and the one that wears blue is Lotus.

Wait, what do you mean you don’t draw clothes on humanized females?
