Technically that Hasbro Logo should have the words “Legal Department” written underneath it. I find what many people forget to realize is that large companies such as Hasbro are split into different departments each acting on there own accorded but each answering to a Head Office. However there are cases were a companies legal department may act on its own without contacting it’s head office if they feel like a person/group is infringing on copyrighted material that there company owns. I know what some of you are thinking “They shouldn’t just take things down without contacting there head office first.” Now think if you were in the shoes of someone who works at the head office would you want to be contacted by legal every single day on about every little thing? Or would you just tell the people at legal to do what they think is best and let yourself get back to your own work?
 
So don’t blame Hasbro as a whole blame there legal department. At least this time we caught the ear of one of there higher ups, doubt he can really do anything but there’s hope for things to work out for Jan and if not then for future fan works.

Although there’s people saying it’s an April Fools joke, considering we’re not far from April.

That’s a bit harsh, isn’t it? The “Button” series was getting really popular, but it used copyrighted characters and didn’t fall into parody territory… as much as I wish there was some sort of way to handle this without lawyers, they were within their right as content producers to demand some control over it.
