In one source, it said Twilight was a dormant conscious within the Unity (uncontrolling but aware), while another lists her as actively influencing it which doesn’t make a lot of sense considering she’d probably go against it given her reaction during her final moments “alive” and the fact that she saved Littlepip rather than leave her to die after her direct attack on the Unity. Just seemed a bit too evil of her to play along in such a scheme
