I agree with you about Donna, as to me, she was a surprisingly good companion. I initially thought that given Tate’s background in comedy that we’d have a comic-relief-esq companion.

Amy and Rory > Any other companion since the reboot > Rose Tyler
In my opinion at least, also Donna was Ten’s best companion by far unless I’m allowed to count Captain Jack Harkness.
