Rarity: So, which one of you gentlecolts is going to help me with my bags?
Sailor One: Do you remember them saying anything about our new commanding officer being a pony?
Sailor Two: No! I didnt even know ponies could serve in the navy!
So this took a lot longer to finish then I had originally intended. When I started I thought that I could get this one done by like Thursday of Friday of last week then start on some requests that I had accepted. However, I made some last minute changes that put me slightly behind schedule. So, no problem I said to myself youll just upload it on Saturday. Then Saturday came and I started on another picture that I was using for some practice, and before I knew it I had wasted all my free time on the practice pic and not on this one. Sooo, long story short I finally got this one done and here it is.
Alright, now Im finally getting to the some of the request I promised people I would do for them. So, if you are one of those people who made a request dont worry Ill get you pictures done as soon as possible and Ill try to keep the tangents to a minimum.
By the way, if there are any Navy fanboys out there. I have a little pop quiz for you.
A: What type of ship is this. i.e. Aircraft Carrier, Cruiser, Destroyer etc.
B: What class of ship is it.
C: What is the Name of this particular ship.
Clue: it is not an Arleigh Burk, So have fun with that. See you guys in like a week.

Yep, I actually saw USS Freedom (LCS-1) during a port visit nine years ago during my last deployment, never got to see any of the Independence-class vessels. As for the dazzle camouflage, yeah I can see her doing that…plus she’d certainly be inspecting everyone’s uniforms to make sure they’re squared away.
Perhaps, but the vessel in the background looks rather like an Independence-class to me, and the pennant number matches that of the Coronado.
For one thing, she has no bridge-wings, a complaint regarding the Indie-class vessels.
Rarity’s an O6, so LCS and Frigate are right out of the picture (they have O5 CO’s).
B: Independence-class
C: USS Coronado, LCS 4.
It’s a pity the LCS program just got so messed up, I’ll stow all my hopes away for the Type-26s myself.
Although, Rarity might try and add abit of dazzle-camouflage…
