Out of the Mane 6, only two of them seem to actually life goals is Dash and Rarity. Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie seem like they’re just content where they are.

So far, she’s been recognized by them, showed she’s physically capable by being accepted into the Academy, showed leadership skills while there as well, they acknowledge her talent, and the test was to show just how serious she was in joining and now she’s (at the very least) qualified for their reserve squad (if not actually in it).
 
Of all the Mane 6 she’s the one who’s made the most progress towards her specific goal. Of course, her’s was always the most tangible of all of them.

She was only accepted as a wing pony in the Academy. That’s a step in the right direction, but it’s hardly official yet!

I thought she already became a Wonderbolt at the end of Wonderbolts Academy? What more is she going to have to take to be in it?!

Reminds me of the scene in “Putting Your Hoof Down” when Fluttershy is faced with her inner demons and gets all depressed, and the forest around her cottage dies off. It’s like pegasi alter their environment to reflect their emotional state.

This made me want to hug her so much. Sad Dashie… :(

Sad Dashie is too damn cute.

If a pegasus gets sad on a cloud, it turns into a rain cloud. Considering that their magic directly links them to the weather, it kinda makes sense.
