somehow ended up using my childrens bookstyle for this one.Kitsch. hmm i kinda like more feathery pegasi. somehow i think they had to be more fluffy with a thick fur because of the flight altitude. and its kinda fun to use different bodyshape for each race rather than just adding a horn or wings to a standard body. have to experiment with this more. somehow i want to make unicorns tiny little.

And I’m gonna agree with everyone else about Scootaloo’s bonus feathers being cute. I’ve seen several artists draw pegasi that way, and I always thought it was neat. Possibly even more than that, though, I really like something about her mane.
 
But yeah, I noticed her belly too, and wondered if there was a reason for that lighter area.

not sure what’s up with scoots…  
the “extra feathery” part is nice, but i see anorexic ribs and some sort of belly lump that i find disturbing…
