Given this line, I am pretty sure that we shouldn’t worry about this hostile to bronies, since I’m pretty sure every one here has said this to themselves once in a while.
The one Twi wore in WWU looked padded, so that was probably to help keep her back warm.
I’ve never seen a pony with saddlebags + a saddle. I’ve maybe only seen the saddles themselves twice, and the corset was almost a reason for one (the very first episode with Rarity in the boutique), while the other time in “Winter Wrap Up” it was almost like a jacket.
Maybe as corsets? Or maybe they are shaped, not as a seat for a rider, but as padding and stabilization for when ponies have heavy loads to shoulder? Plus something to hang saddlebags off of :)
I may need to watch more than just half the first season and the Archer crossover episode.
Can’t wait to see this episode.
I’d assume Benjamin notes his writers a lot on this and Archer, and if that’s true I’ll probably appreciate both even more. ;3
Not unexpected to have Hollywood writers go all out in the face of adversity. (Still have no idea how many of us wear pony swag every day like I. <_<; )
BB is a more cereberal show - they don’t linger too much for jokes and a lot goes fast.
I will expect a few “hrr, neckbeards” but everything so far from this episode suggests they want to show that’s a tiny fraction, that the rest of the fraction are good ppl.
Which isn’t exactly hard when those jokes are just the same copy-pasted “Hurr we’re neckbeards/autistic/fat” comments made day-in, day-out for 3 years.
