Okay, since Twilight is the Princess of Magic, can we assume that she has permission from Celestia to deal with “misuse of magic” incidents as she sees fit?
 
And yes Mayojar, I’m aware that Twilight hasn’t had a stellar record of proper use of magic throughout the show’s run.
