I don’t think it’s missing, it’s just contorted to the point where the bend isn’t obviously defined, which may be a tad more than it’d really allow, making it look odd, yes.

She’s missing a joint in her rear upper leg.

Cannot unsee, that leg position is super unnatural for an equine.
