I’ve been wanting to revisit my Equestria Girls/Yatterman mash up.
Sunset Shimmer = Doronjo
Snips = Tonzura
Snails = Boyacky
Although I dislike concealing so much of Sunset’s beautiful hair, for some reason, I’m just really fond of Snails as Boyacky (“Pochitona!”).
When I first saw Snips and Snails salute Sunset in Equestria Girls, I instantly saw them as the Doronbo Gang! To this day, whenever I hear the song Tensai Doronbo, I always imagine Sunset and her goons singing it.

That’d be an interesting concept (though I haven’t watched Yatterman Night yet).
Probably. Although in light of Sunset’s redemption in Rainbow Rocks, I now see Trixie as Doronjo.

Ditto here! Were it not for TvC, a lot of folks probably wouldn’t have heard of Yatterman or the Doronbo Gang.
Still, this is a nice cross-over.
Just pointing it out for those unfamiliar with Yatterman.
