Not necessarily. The two critters have different survival strategies.
Parasprites are brainless critters that devote most of their resources to reproduction, like tribbles. That only makes sense if they have extremely short lifespans, i.e. are on the business end of the food chain. They live fast, die young, and leave a lot of descendents to carry on the fight.
Breezies are smarter – they use tools and work collectively. Thus, they can think ahead and strategize. If the Breezies can keep the Parasprites away from food (and thus keep them from reproducing), they’ll burn themselves out. Or if not that, enlist a Parasprite-eating predator (Probably not a good strategy, as anything that’d eat Parasprites likely would eat Breezies, too.).
Either way Breezies win through superior brain-power.
