Contrary tomother sports, I have a soft spot for the US team. As a basketball fan, when I see haters on NBA foruums calling soccer “a sport for little children and women”, I think they don’t deserve having the best senior team in the CONCACAF. These guys on and off the field and their backers put a lot of effort on trying to make a top team and represent the country. Will these bigots be celebrating the Title if one day USA wins the World Cup and chanting “We’re #1”?
 
To all USA soccer fans and federate players, I can only say “GO USA!”, the path will be long, but rewarding.
