I’m not even sure who said it was sexy in the first place, either than OP.
It’s not sexier, it’s funnier and easier to identify with. It has a personality, it’s enjoyable, and people like it. A lot of the time people want to bang what they like, but that doesn’t make it ‘sexier’ any more than people hunting for bigfoot makes it ‘tastier’. One trait may be related to the other, but they’re not inherently intertwined.
