Yep. It’s an easter egg in this game.

She’s there for the infernal lava worms that are also in the room.

I suspect that was intentional, with iD deliberately varying the gameplay with each secret map. IIRC, Episode 3’s secret level was iD’s version of first-person Pac-Man. Another map was as close as Wolfenstein 3d got to Castle Wolfenstein’s stealth gameplay. (I.e. find the route that doesn’t trigger every enemy in the door-less level before you reach the door).
Floor 10 was Episode 1’s secret level. Purple organic walls all around with a odd music playing.
I have zero recollection of that level :-)
It’s been so long I remember only some things, like killing Hitler, the pacman ghost secret level, the “call Apogee” maze, and the impossibly complex episode 6 maps that I lost my nerves in and started to cheat.
Floor 10 in general felt out of place in Wolf3d.
But that place doesn’t really look like a place Fluttershy would enjoy staying in. Lava, undulating masses of flesh and who knows what else?
