Right I should explain the pony on the left is King Sombra he is from the comics version of him, now this Sombra as you can tell is very different yes thats because in his world he is King of equestria read the comics if you want to find out more about how this happened.
Anyway I drew King Sombra together to show that they are different.
and they are still one of my favorite characters as a villain or a hero.

maybe comic!sombra is a version of show!sombra uncorrupted by dark magic? like show!sombra became so tainted his hair turned to shadow and his eyes got that weird smoke?
Well… I think the comic one looks more like a… Well, “Alucard”-ish gentleman, and that only fortificates the “GRAAAH! CRYSTAAALS!” image of the canon one.
Define “ruin”.
