Claude literally did nothing wrong.
He trying to run a business and Rarity’s job on the first cart was horrible. IRL, stuff like that would of had Rarity at fault on all fronts. She kinda lucked out on Claude not having any close contacts that could get the job done.

It was a series of flaws that kept him from working properly.
