To be fair, Krillin getting that horn through his chest was pretty awesome, even in the original. For a second there, I forgot that they could just heal him / wish him back if it came to that.
I was actually kind of pissed.
Years ago. Its not something I rewatch because oh god the padding.
I saw a couple episodes of Kai from the fight against Frieza and didn’t notice anything being cut that I don’t remember also being cut in the original run of the dub (eg, Krillin getting impaled)
There’s no way in hell you watched the original if you had to ask that.

As just a passing fan of DBZ, I didn’t mind all of the cut material at all. It’s not a show for me to get too wrapped up in anyway. It’s impossibly muscular guys screaming at each other, yo.
They could cut an entire season and I’d likely not notice.
Considering how much of the actual fights Kai guts out of the show, I really can’t blame him.
I certainly hope he is.

Wish I could like comments. I dropped watching that show because I got tired of 20 episodes for guys screaming as they looked like they had bowel problems before so much as actually trying to punch one another.
DbZ’s more 10% fighting, 30% dialogue, 60% dragged out stare-downs.
So… Basically it WAS DBZ? 90% dialog, 10% awesome fighting?

Someone clearly hasn’t seen DBZ. HFIL = Home For Infinite Losers, i.e. what they censored “hell” to in the English dub.
Along with, instead of killing people, sending them to another dimension.
