Time becomes a loop, time becomes a loop, time becomes a loop…
I kinda wish your “god I hate that glitch” comment multi-posted.
got i hate that glitch.
It is now. >>628751 >>628747
It’s not completed yet
his legs seem kinda wooden in this picture.
it’s hard to explain what looks different between an angel and a normal human. yes, they can fly, but it’s like their human visage is a thin veil to their true power, and their true being. I’ve only seen one, but the whole glowing with an internal light thing is kinda true, though the light does not illuminate surrounding surfaces. when you see them, or at least the one that saved me from certain death (or at least crippling brain damage) they seem to exist outside of time, and yet at every point in time at once. an angel is truly a sight to behold.
It’s all good. :)
As for the image of Tirek itself, I wonder if the artist is planning to do his bottom centaur half, as well.
thank you for proving that wrong
Yeah, I’ve caught crap from fanatical religious folk, and fanatical atheists alike.
Religious and non-religious zealots, gotta hate them for the over-the-top and completely-unnecessary devotion to something.
I don’t know, I’ve seen some religious discussions that end up with anons’/people going, “ZOMG ur religion suxorz,” and such, so it doesn’t always end up civil… It can get pretty ugly here to, so I was trying to wrap up said discussion before that starts happening.
One guy got bent with me, just ‘cause I said Christians & Catholics believe in a few different things… Because I said I am a Christian, he mistook me for somehow bashing his (Catholic) faith, which is quite disheartening, as I try to be respectful on this site of others’.
…(Well, aside from to a few trolls, admittedly. lol I’m not perfect.)
Pshh, you would be surprised the amount of religious/fetish/whatever discussions we have that begin and end calmly in the forums.
I am as pleasantly surprised as you.
Dunno if it is the whole “comrade” thingy here in derpibooru (after all, we are all part of this site living in harmnoy, most of the time), but you can talk about this stuff and mostly everyone will be civil about it.
You just need a few idiots to ruin beautiful threads like these.
Well, according to scripture they did look human, (and some were quite popular with the human ladies, so to speak) but nothing ever described them with wings. It’s kinda funny how people tend to depict things.
Though, I don’t really wanna start any kinda religious debate here, but we seem to be discussing angels/devil depictions calmly so far.
And they beautified them to look human, but with wings.
Maybe not all of ‘em were, (I’m not sure, I’m not an expert on theology) but I think the reason some were scared of angels wasn’t because they were “ugly,” but because they were probably a li’l different looking then humans. Some warrior angels, were probably pretty badass looking in armor, and such though. (As depicted in some old paintings.)
Funny thing is, Judeo/Christian angels don’t actually have wings. They were depicted with them in paintings, and such, because people couldn’t comprehend how beings floating/flying without wings.
@JakeTheSpy
I think the “red horned devil monster” thing came from other religions, or mythologies perhaps. Don’t know which ones though had anything like that.
Tho you must take into consideration that not all “angels” are beautiful. In the bible, for example, one angel presents to a man, and that man is so horrified at the angel’s look that it has to tell the human to be calm, that it was sent by god.
