@Minus Babs. This needs to be our next Babs episode. FINALLY we learn what she was teased over, and why she feared Tiara so much. Her ‘disability’ was obvious, you had to know the CMC’s ages to know about their blankness, but for Babs, she’s kinda taller, kinda chunky, other ponies probably presumed she was older. She started getting the “blank flank” stuff earlier, plus they teased her on her weight, oh it will be perfect!

That’s not actually true. If you’re a guy with any of those issues you’re going to be shamed for it mercilessly too.

This is really not the message of the episode though. This is about confidence and self-belief not being enough sometimes, and accepting yourself for the way you are instead… Oh wait, when I say it like that it does seem to work with appearances too.

Wish society would hurry up and change already so that we can stop forcing this idea onto girls.
 
And I just noticed this has lots of downvotes and talks of feminism in the comments. Are we seeing the same image? I don’t see anything in this relating to anything being said by you guys at all.
