I’ve heard “Cooking is a woman’s job” a few times in life myself. Housework in general (including cooking) is usually treated as the mother’s job in the family. Even if it isn’t outright said. All this picture really does is point out Spike enjoys cooking.
Yeah I know there are plenty of real exceptions to this generalization. That’s the point.
Because nobody ever said baking was feminine. This post is addressing an issue that never existed.

They’ve been sexist towards women for a while now. The crazy ones that you usually see in the new bitching about some misogyny and now other women have a harder time finding jobs in that field because of Ms. Psycho McCrazypants, and then they come in and tell them “It’s not your fault it’s the patriarchy.”
Or, they just blatantly say women are too weak to handle simple life thing, like being called “bossy”
If you actually found this startling, then you must be damn old. Most of us don’t remember the time that baking was considered girly. Infact all the people I know who work as chefs are men. I myself trained as a chef and my cakes were amazing! (the secret is to put in far too much syrup and sugar and stuff, until it becomes lethal.)

People actually say that. They actually do say it about male MLP fans, and about anything else where men are involved in something deemed “for females”.
Yeah. It was doomed from the start when they chose the name.
A pity too. With all the just plain insane (and not in the fun way), angry, and mean spirited ones, it’s nice to see something that’s positive for once.
It probably would have been received many times better if it didn’t include the word “Feminism” in it’s title.
That’s a controversial word that gets as much dislike as pedophilia, religion/anti-religion, or racism since a lot of the ones that fly the flag of it are arguably horrible people that just seem bitter.
And before people know it they aren’t even listening to each other about points made. Only seeking to “win” whatever they can argue about rather than come to an understanding.

Of course guys would enjoy baking: what’s there not to enjoy from cooking awesome dishes to eat for a snack or desert.
