Well that’s still true, I just don’t want this to turn into another slap fight about shipping. I’ve been there too many times before. I’m not saying that Big Mac is a better choice but I am saying that I don’t think Bulk is good enough of a choice. What it comes down to is who has the most potential for growth and I just feel that Big Mac is a safer bet for character growth seeing the way he’s been promoted in and out of the show.

More screentime maybe, but Big Mac is basically a quiet guy, who says Eeyup a lot, and happens to be someone’s brother. And this part of the discussion branched of one about who’s better for Flutterhsy. You did say “He’s just not developed enough for me to want to go there” a few posts before

That sounds like bull. He was a gag character back when he first appeared. By now he has been shown to be more than just a guy who shouts yeah, that’s not really different from Big Mac, who on the other hand hasn’t been shown really interacting with Fluttershy.

She’s out of your league, Mac. They’re adorable attracted opposites, he’s gotten several episodes with her under his metaphorical belt now, and they’re both pegasi that are more comfortable on the ground.
 
Plus, Shyceps. That is like, the best ship name. Cheerilee’s still available and swooning over you.

Better version of Big Mac? Them’s fighting words. If anything, Bulk is a cheap, obnoxious imitation of Big Mac. Similar catch phrase and all.
 
Also, Big Mac moved a friggin’ house with just a rope and rammed ten mares into the sky so don’t even try the strength angle.

Well big mac is shy, flutters too but she found a guy stronger and shyer and fond with him. The irony is that bulks seems to be a better version of big mac. And even if big mac and him fight over flutters and the fight is based only in brute force bulk would win. Plus bulks is not shy but cant fly and even so he overcame that and became stronger (he doesnt care about his limitation) big mac did have problems (parents gone) but because of his shyness it seems he couldn’t overcome that.
