She was a robot created by the apple family to harvest apples at rate no human could ever achieve, but after a while they realized not only was she sentient but didn’t know she was a robot, and believed she was a member of the family. They decided to go along with her delusion as they had emotionally bonded with her at this point, and she never found out the truth. That until now as a random glitch causes her memeories that were stored for deletion to be renewed.
