It is a MLP episode. The misinformation I was refering to was among people regarding the episode. I’m positive the episode itself can debunk what it is often believed about it.
But they never really explained it. I think it would take like 10 seconds to make the episode seem more like an MLP episode.
I don’t think it was ever harsh to begin with, just misinformation being spread and taking a life of its own.

animation wise, her pose looks sort of flat, i doubt they had the intention of “showing off” when they animated those scenes.
Where can I find loads of drama regarding separate bloody scenes from this episode?
But hey, at least the safety check thing actually does seem to make sense. I kind of doubt that that’s what the writers were going for, though.
