With the right choice in armor/perks/cybernetics, a melee character can make guns-using enemies look freaking helpless.
Wow She Must Be Really Looney Tuney If You Ask Me?
Long-range telekinesis would likely be just as useful as an average gun. Bullets may travel fast, but they’re not easy to do anything with other than a straight line. A good sword, meanwhile, can be used to do a lot of things. Especially if a pony’s a stealth-type and not a charge-in-recklessly type. And swords probably last longer than the pre-war remnants of guns.
Given that she’s a unicorn, I think she’ll fare well enough if she’s skilled.
