@Badumsquish
This is a really old photo. I was using Snes Station on my Ps2 with the Ps2 controller. It ran really bad, obviously.
Nowadays I just use Snes9x on my Ps3 with the Ps3 controller.
Probably on an emulator put on the tv. PS3/4 controllers make great pc controllers; they’re completely compatable and plug-and-play.
Edited
Haven’t played TMNT, but Chrono Trigger is a definite “Go play that.” And if you ever get the chance, try Bomberman 2, and Megaman 7 was pretty good. Those two games made up the majority of my childhood.
I mean old enough. Darn it brain what are you doing? xD
Well, I haven’t much to recommend since you probably know lot of them, like Mega Man X, TMNT: Turtles In Time which is very entertaining when you play it with a friend, and Super Castlevania 4 (awesome level design with suitable and awesome themes)etc. Other than that there’s Chrono Trigger, which I haven’t played yet, but people are saying it’s awesome and epic so I’m planning to play it very soon. Maybe you’ve heard of it? And yes I agree, SNES was a great generation. I wish I was young enough to live in it :D.
Frig, the way you said it made me think you’d only played the original FF VI. But anyway, if you’ve got any recommendations, I’d definitely like to hear them. SNES was a great generation.
Thanks but I already beat the Pony Fantasy 6 and now I’m playing it for the second time :D.
I played it way back when the project first started; at that point, the game ended just as you left Onett. I really do need to go back to it. For you, I’d definitely recommend playing the original Earthbound, too. Equestriabound was based off greatness.
Also! If you loved Final Fantasy VI and Equestriabound, then you’ll really love:
Mod edit: (Link no longer leads anywhere, removed for virus alert).
It is Final Fantasy VI modded for ponies. One of the things that makes it so interesting is that it’s not just a reskin; certain mechanics have been changed and the character relationships are modified to reflect the change of cast. Like, (I haven’t played in a while so my memory is fuzzy) Pinkie Pie replaces Gau, but rather than going berserk, she remains under your command. Even though Applebloom replaces Locke, as an earth pony, she can’t use magic and instead has access to both Steal and Tools.
There’s a bunch more other changes, but you should definitely play it. It’s a great twist on an already great game.

Well, I’ve never played the original Earthbound since the game was released and SNES was discontinued before I was even born. But I like ponies, and Final Fantasy VI made me like SNES so I had to give EquestriaBound a shot. And I’m not dissapointed because the game has a unique battle system that is entertaining, a weird humour in a good way, an adventurous plot, good graphics for an SNES game and it’s awesome. You should play it too! :)
I’m so happy, from what I’ve read, Equestriabound is basically finished. I’ve yet to play it, but I’m so excited! Earthbound is just too good!
