I started this guy a week after the finale aired by buying one of those larger brushable ponies of Pinkie Pie and a “Marvel Super Heroes Masher” figure of the Hulk. I used Pinkie’s legs and Hulk’s entire upper body to create his basic shape. The tail, inner body of the horse half, neck ring, head, and horns were all sculpted by me using Sculpey III oven bake clay and Apoxie Sculpt and I used a chunk of aluminum foil for the inner part of his horse body to save on clay. I used the clay for the horse part and the Apoxie for the upper humanoid body. He was painted with Testors acrylics. His forearms, tail and head can all be removed from the body (the reason why I got MSHM Hulk because those figures have removable body parts for swapping out) and his horns are connected with Lego technic pegs and can be removed to allow for easier transportation. His head can turn a bit to the left and right and can look up and his arms can hinge and turn at the elbow and shoulder joint.
Making this guy was quite easy for the most part but I ran into some trouble with the shoulder and elbow bits while painting him. The joints were so tough that when I moved them the paint would peel off so I had to sand down said joints two times in order to create enough clearance. Right now he only needs a bit of sealant in several spots where the paint could easily chip off by outer forces. otherwise, the figure is quite sturdy and bottom heavy and depicts the character quite well.
Well that’s all I’ll tell without having to describe it into too much detail. I’ll have a tutorial coming up though, showing how I made this guy cuz I took loads of WIP shots while making him. It will probably be in video form but I might also try making a single page showing all of it off. If you are itching to make your own Tirek custom, stay tuned for my tutorial! :D
And for anyone who wants to buy him, sorry but he has already been claimed. I might try another one some time down the road though…” - AleximusPrime
