Only Twilight, Trixie, and Discord have regular color versions here; I wonder who the other two are, assuming they go by the same “five chase variants” scheme as in Series 1. Come to think of it, there are only seven figures on display– who are the other five?

And yahoo auctions has always been ass. They have about the same amount of auctions but good luck getting in touch with anybody, at least in the west/US. Foreigners seem not to realise yahoo are some slacker motherfuckers and treat it like a normal auction site, but I’ve had nothing but trouble with even dedicated sellers if they’re in the US.  
Used them lots of times back in the early-to-mid 2000s collecting games and plugging holes in my 80s Joes collections, also have made a Perfect Robotix collection.

They exist because Funko are clever enough to know that sad *%$&#ers will buy way more than is necessary just to get the individual ones that complete a set, and after a year or so they can release them all in normal colors and the same sad %$&#ers will grit their teeth and buy them all over again.
 
…I’m sorry, that’s not very uplifting, but it’s the obvious ugly truth of it.

I had extras of nearly all of them, because I was one of the sad %$&#ers who way overbought on them. eBay ate them all.

You can order specific ones online, I think. It might be ToyWiz that does it? Just kind of mad that the individual boxes don’t have codes on them because each flat of the toys has a specific amount of every character so that they can just make a flat and know how many Fluttershy figurines they made.

@TexasUberAlles Still, risky business for me, I don’t know anyone but target demo that collects these sorts of things in my area, and they’re annoyingly possessive.  
I basically only want Blackity and normalcord based on pictures I’ve seen, 1/5 chance, but knowing how bad they are with equal distribution based on my gilda hunts, it’s more like 1/20th.

They’re a lot cooler looking in person, it looks like some kind of magic effect or something. The hair colors really pop from the matte black body.

gotta say I really hate these things, because the dark ones kinda look like ass, aside from Rarity’s. Rarity’s just makes her look like Nightmarity.

Cloudsdale isn’t another country, though; at most it’s treated like a state, and there’s a difference between having heard God Save The Queen and thought it was a set of funny alternate lyrics for My Country ‘Tis Of Thee and being able to remember the third verse of the Nevada state song. Spike’s a li’l badass– seriously, he put a freakin’ bridge about The Trees and a chorus about wanting it to be over already in his Song Of Abject Failure And Humiliation and kept on singing, he was a damn superhero– but he’s still no more than twelve-thirteenish at the most and probably hasn’t ever had much reason to care about Cloudsdale. I was a huge U.S. History trivia nerd at that age, but the only other state song I ever knew anything about was Maryland’s, because it has the funniest friggin’ final verse of any official song ever.
