They actually do, later in this universe’s canon. Claire moves to Canterlot Castle to be with her boyfriend, and Starburst moves to Canterlot as well to enlist in the Royal Guard.
You could say the same about the show. It does seem that almost always it’s the fanbase of something who have a bigger interest about worldbuilding than the creator itself.
In any case, what I meant is that it’s usually fully industrialized nations or regions where transurban migrations are common phenomena. Equestria doesn’t seem to be like that, and I guess it’d take more than one generation to become as such.
I’m sure it has but this artist and most of her drawings are for the sake of making OC’s and drawing them for fun, not world building
