the back one, obviously
Other people kinda covered it, but I just replied to another image so. Vore means, in the context of fetish stuff, one person going into another person through whatever means.
Reasons include but are not limited to the dominance/submission potential, extreme intimacy, finding large bellies and/or bulges sexy, having an oral fixation, macro/micro, food related fetishes, people who are into things like guro and death go for the less pleasant sorts like digestion (many people prefer either painless absorption or for the prey to be completely comfortable inside) and hard vore (chewing, cutting, cooking, etc). And that’s just covering the common oral vore.
I find it interesting how one comment lead to a small discussion of soft vore vs hard vore, and various reasons for being into vore in the first place.XD
I guess I’m looking at it less as “how closely is it derived from normal sexual concepts” and more “how far removed is it from something that’s possible irl”
I mean, with inflation, enema’s are a real thing, and I know plenty of people get off to that, but vore? I guess some people try swallowing goldfish, but that’s about as close as you can get.
Really? I’ve always felt like vore was pretty grounded in sexual concepts. Bodily contact, coming into contact with moist, warm, pink skin, stuff like licking and biting.
With inflation there’s… ’bloons
to tell the truth, even as a voraphile, I still think that vore is very near the top of the strange fetishes totem pole.
inflation? man, that’s pretty tame, imo.
To be fair, people weirdly have a harder time wrapping their head around vore than even more nonsensical fetishes like inflation.
No need to be rude, he just asked a question. It is a pretty weird fetish.
@TheZcmme
There are a lot of variables in vore. Putinforgod likes the intimacy of it, some like it as a masochism/submissive thing and so on. I don’t really get why I like it. I just know that I like soft vore with digestion.
I am one of those kind of voraphiles but I also expand into UB CV AV,and OV just as long as they are not too graphic, like what I have seen happen to fluffy ponies. good lord when I saw those pics, I hurled and had nightmares for two days. never looked at one of those ever again.
no, the difference between the two is only how the prey is eaten. as long as they’re are swallowed whole and in one piece, then it’s soft vore, regardless of what happens after.
soft vore and hard vore are opposites of each other when it comes to details. The picture above us is an example of soft vore. The hooves that are pushing out from they large belly show that the prey is alive and in one piece. in hard vore, things would be more grimdark and actually show details of prey being digested
soft vore is just swallowing, like a snake.
hard vore involves chewing and tearing and other nasty, gory things.
you’ll find that the vast majority of voraphile are only into soft vore, and actually don’t like hard vore at all.
It’s like a curse or something.
EVERY single vore image, someone has to complain about “omg i don’t understand this fetish” or “what’s the appeal?????”
If you don’t like it, filter it. End of story.
The belly is my main draw, as well. Any large, round belly caused by something living(so vore, pregnancy, and cum inflation) are huge turn ons for me.
of course, there’s a lot of other aspects for vore that people are into. as @Pashoo mentioned, some are into the bdsm side of things. the Dom/sub relationship is very similar to the pred/prey relationship, and there’s no greater show of dominance over another living being than eating them.
then there’s the intimacy factor. you can’t get much closer to a loved one than actually being inside of them. and especially for unbirth, there’s a big safety/being protected from the outside world by someone you love thing as well.
and there’s quite a few other things. Vore is not a simple fetish to explain to someone who isn’t into it.
Soft vore and Hard Vore?
Vore is short for voraphilia. I think that’s Latin for eating fetish but I’m not sure. As for why, it depends a lot on the person. Putinforgod and I both like vore but we seem to like totally different things about it.
Strictly speaking, I’m assuming it means to eat, but I’m going by wiktionary’s definition, which I’m also assuming is including connotation. Besides, there are also a bunch of other latin words which mean eat, but they all also have slightly different meaning.
https://translate.google.com/#en/la/eat
I thought the latin root just meant “to consume”?
For some people, fascination with vore can stem from a domination fantasy, even if the person isn’t into dom/sub. It can be a bunch of things regarding the act of eating, but sometimes it’s just a kink some people have.
As for the word Vore, it comes from the Latin word vorō/vorāre meaning “I swallow up/To eat greedily”.
