Knowing Trixie she probably made-up “Trixianna.”
OK….
:(
Those happen too, but whenever the main six are involved….I’m just happy when authors avoid it. (I do in my stories.)
The fanfics I see usually have the new guys attecked by an Everfree monster, not Rainbow Dash.
I agree with the general sentiment, however.
Ugh, don’t remind me. {I hate that aspect too. The new guys are almost always tougher than anything in the ponyverse, and the main six are usually useless.}
The cliches are almost as annoying as ‘tyrant’ ‘dumb’ Celestia.
Particularly when the only reason to do so is to show how tough and strong the new guys are, by having them effortlessly shrug off the attack. Aka The Worf Effect.
I mean, there’s a huge difference between hot-headed and dangerously unstable with violent impulses.
It is frustrating how in pretty every crossover, when said crossover character comes, the first thing Rainbow does is attack them…In several…It’s tired, old, and makes Rainbow look stupid.
@Evowizard25
Yeah, but tell that to some writers, even these days. It’s a bit of a pet peeve of mine, because it’s insulting to both Trixie’s and Rainbow Dash’s character.
Still, if this story ends with them forming some kind of friendship (instead of Trixie running off as an antagonist again) it might make for good canon fuel.
Rainbow isn’t like that at first. Granted, her season 1-2 self would have probably walloped her, but season 3 onward, at most getting quite a bit miffed at her.
To be fair, Dashie has mellowed out, and Trixie did apologize for the “alicorn amulet” incident.
Twilight may be a princess, but how will fans take Trixie being a queen?
(Even if she’s likely just a figurehead for these dogs.)
All Hail Queen Trixianna!
