Not at all. I realize PS is sort of on thin-ice for ‘sue’ territory, but I’m hoping his vibes are one’s I can pull off just right, hence narrowly avoiding the “too much” threshold and instead landing him in “very compelling” territory. Granted a lot of this can be subjective, too, so I’m not asking everyone to like whatever I ultimately decide on :)

Where is that canon? Eh, either way, I don’t really want to give that power to PS, to avoid making him too powerful.
Interesting, since it’s canon that unicorns can potentially do the latter (i.e. “after you’re as cold as me, you’ll drain your ex-friends yourself”).
Perhaps a full-on one. For PS, he can fly thanks to those wings, he has fangs for biting his foes (if he can get close enough), and he perhaps has some unique magic that comes as a result of his unicorn magic fusing with his newly-bestowed Changeling magic.
He’s still a WIP though, so any ‘bad’ ideas can hopefully be rectified in time, once I find the right ideas :)
then what can he do, isnt that like what makes a changeling?
Another idea I had is that, while some of his Changeling features and powers come instantly upon transformation, others come to him slowly over years of servitude. He also can’t do ALL the stuff a full-fledged Changeling can do. He can’t change shape or suck love.
Thanks for the critique :) Maybe the way Celestia transformed Twilight was what I had in mind, OR the common fan theory that ponies can be transformed into Changelings via their powers or via imprisonment in their cocoons.
I suppose I COULD have him remain a regular unicorn though, too. The last thing I want to do is make a character who can’t be taken seriously.
Wait she can give changeling like powers? i mean if celestia can make anyone into an alicorn i guess that makes sense but careful cause you might accidentally make him gary stu, its borderline right now but im sure you can fix it up.
Thank you, SO much :’) I wanted to go for something that really jumped out as being at least a fairly unique idea for an OC, while still keeping it within a logical enough bounds, in regards to characters who’d associate with Chrysalis.
Hopefully I can flesh out his backstory even more, making him a character that a lot of people find interesting ^^

Actually that’s pretty interesting back story for an OC.
Poisoned Soul isn’t a Changeling. He was a unicorn, and was later given Changeling-like features via Queen Chrysalis, upon proving that he’d be a useful servant for her :)
