You can see it clearly scaled by context in the other photo.
For two, the texture is no indication of whether it’s 3D print or not because it was likely polished, painted, lacquered and smoothed in several layers.
Foam sculpt is most likely indeed. The sculptor could have simply used the Gmodel for visual reference, recreating it so well that it looks machine printed.
Though the detail for this is incredible to say the least. Whoever did sculpt this did an incredible job and obviously put a lot of time, effort and heart into it.
It’d be great if someone could actually get a measurement of this model. It looks pretty big, and I’m curious about how big it really is.
Why is everyone assuming this is a fan-made one-off? I realize we only have a single source for it at the moment, but surely there are at least a few people here from England’s Texas who can saddle up the family kangaroo and go check to see if they’re at Myers stores all over Australia or if it’s just this one.
He probably doesn’t mind anyways, alot of people have been using his 3D models in GMod, and such for years.
Although it is possible this is a coincidance, it does look like the Funko figures kinda, but the ears do look more like KP’s 3D work.
I commented about that elsewhere, and KP’s works have already been commercialized in the past.
How can it be official if it’s based off of KP Shadow Squirrel’s models used in GMod, SFM, and other Source games?
Also: Brony Cabal.
you know, for science..
I don’t know what else to say but;
Seriously though, I would love to have one of these! :D YOU LISTENING HASBRO!!!?
I’d give everything I have just for that statue!
Though something fan made like this would require some form of second-hand manufacturing. 3D printer, possibly.
Though if it were some kind of soft, spongy material like a stress ball, I’m pretty sure all the ranges of the spectrum of usage would occur with this.
