Background Pony #80B2
Spike, the Male Player Character from Pokemon Sun and Moon, is the Gym Leader of Ponyville. Though his studies with Twilight have given him tons of strategic knowledge about Pokemon, his battle style can be summed up as such: brute force, brute force, brute force. The strategy works thanks to the off the charts power of his Pokemon. If you can outsmart him and out muscle his Pokemon then Spike will give you the final Badge needed to challenge the Pokemon League.

“I’d counter his Dragonite with my Weavile, his Blaziken with either my Sharpedo or Tyranitar, his Hydreigon with my Weavile again, his Haxorus with Sharpedo, and his Salamence with Weavile :U”
Dragonite probably would survive Weavile’s attack with Multiscale and OHKO it. Sharpedo has nothing bar Ice Fang to beat Haxorus, which it could endure and KO back with Outrage. If Salamence switch in on Weavile, Intimidate would lower its ATK, allowing Spike’s poké to survive yours’ attack, then retaliate next turn. Sharpedo COULD defeat Blaziken with Aqua Jet, but should it survive, thanks to that move’s low Base Power, it woul wreck shit on Shar with High Jump Kick. Tyranitar would only stand a chance against Blaziken if that latter switched into one of the former’s damaging moves, which, should Spike be a savvy trainer, he wouldn’t do so hastily; otherwise, HJK kills it instantly.
