Should probably add, I’m not trying to start drama, and NOT trying to say we “Sonic fans” are “oppressed” by the brony fandom, I’m just saying the tension/fighting between both fandoms is silly. Especially, when many bronies do like Sonic, and many other things.

It’s a shame really, ‘cause I’ve run into several nice Sonic fans here, and I don’t think bronies should try to ostracize people, just ‘cause they’re fans of things like Sonic. (One person gave me crap for being a “Sonic fan” here before, but it’s not like I’m obsessed with the hedgehog. If anything, I prefer Mario.)
 
Saw somebody remark on one Sonic pic recently, that we “Sonic fans” should keep our “Sonic s***” out of their “pure brony fandom.” (Not sure if he was just trolling, but he did argue with some afterwords like he meant it.)  
Which I find ironic ’cause bronies do alot of the same things Sonic fans do. (Like ‘ship every character with every other character, make O.C.s, fanfics, and such.)
 
I even saw somebody ironically bash Sonic fans for making “fan-characters,” yet so do alot of bronies. (And some of which aren’t any better, or just recolors of existing characters to.)

Oh yeah, those I don’t get, but it’s pretty much because the Sonic and MLP fandoms have butted heads before. Some young’uns are still rather resentful.

Interesting, considering most usually compare Rarity to Rouge.  
(Though, Rarity isn’t as self-centered, and nicer.) Flutterbat as Rouge is quite clever.

Well, to be fair, I’ve seen some decent-drawn (neither amazing, nor badly drawn) Sonic pieces that still get downvoted, and oddly some that aren’t downvoted at all hardly. Funny thing is ones featuring Tails, Knuckles, Sally, or even Amy hardly get any downvotes compared to ones that have Sonic.
 
Also, I see other forced crossover-‘shipping pics (like all the SpidermanXTwilight ones) that get tons of upvotes, and barely any downvotes.
 
I think some still won’t forgive the hedgehog for the Sonic2006 game.
