Megara was the last greek character left for Rainbow Dash to cosplay on in season 9. Heck.
The showrunners were resolved to put Rainbow Dash in every Greek dress they could come up with from Season 1 onward, and even gave RD the Hercules symbol for her G4 Cutie mark. It was only a matter of time before they dressed her up as Megara.
