Very bad idea to upset mares

Anon, you know it’s not a good idea to mess with a mare’s heart. Especially if it’s the heart of a Princess.

Anon had no idea what his words meant to the solar princess. All he referred to was her temperature and nothing more. He puts his hand to her forehead and feels a spike in her temperature. He thinks the fever is worsening and goes to fetch a wet towel for her.
 
For Celestia, as she watches him run off, stares at the door he exited and lets his words repeat in her head with the image of his featureless face peering at her. Her eyes are still glued to the open door as Anon runs back in and applies the towel to her head helping cool the overheated Princess. But Celestia doesn’t pay any attention to it even as the cool cloth touches her head and abates the worst of the heat. Rather she’s focused on him as he stands over her with a smile and asks: “Are you feeling better, Celestia?” The Princess does a slow nod. “Great.” He exclaims as he strokes her barrel then moves toward the door. “If you need me for anything else just say the word and I’ll come. Bye.” He closes the door and she can hear his steps as they head down the hall and fade away.
 
The Princess slowly releases a breath she forgotten she’d been holding and as the hot breath leaves her lungs she shifts her gaze the to ceiling, the words of Anon still on her mind.
 
Now she realizes how close she came to revealing her thoughts to him and embarrassing herself. Shaking her head she tries to clear the replaying phrase from her mind all the while thankful that Anon wasn’t her real physician. Other wise he might have tried to listen to her heart, which feels like a panicked bird,trying to fly free of its cage.

Well I would say it could be a hospital type bed but her whole body would have to be at a slant. Either that or her butts being consumed by fluff. “Princess! your torso!” “ Oh, don’t worry twilight. I’m just morphing…”

I don’t think the mercury poisoning is going to help, now that she ate half the thermometer.
