Something lost in translation. The creator probably speaks Spanish and/or Portuguese, where “Probar”/“Provar” in the context of food can also mean “To Taste”.
I was thinking of Swedish “prova” corrupted into English spelling: “prove”.
“prova” means to try it, however, it’s not the same as tasting.
“I will prove your innocence!” suddenly sounds very, very wrong
languages are weird…

In this case I would wager the artist is a native portuguese speaker and mixed up the verbs “to prove” and “to taste”, which are the same in that language
A la Wikipedia:

…beats me why you’d need to proof a cake though!
