Originally, it was going to be Shadow and Mordecai sharing wine while Flash Sentry is mounted on a wall. BroDogz thought it was too mean and likely to cause a flame war. The most he would do is have the two characters give Flash Sentry a stare. We settled for a fan convention, conveniently called Twili-con. It was his idea, despite not being a fan of MLP (XD). There fans, Lyra and Derpy included apparently, are excitedly lined up for Flash Sentry’s shipping with Twilight. Shadow and Mordecai jealously conspire against their common foe.
 
This was to signify an alliance between ShadTwi and MordeTwi. “Despite our differences on who Twilight should be paired with, we have something in common regarding Flash Sentry.” That was years ago and intended to be satirical humor, but it still ruffled Flash Sentry fans the wrong way. I have no regrets commissioning this one, though BroDogz decided not to make any more “ship war” content due to sporadic comments.
