I know what you mean; related or not, I think they’d probably be friends. I think Twilight would’ve turned out worse, but Sunset better, in the absence of the whole magical-potentially-princess-ponies thing, and it would be fascinating to see that play out… Now might be a good time to learn French.
Well, that much has always been known. What we don’t know yet is if the human version of Twilight or Sunset will ever make an official appearance.

I like it – that Human Twilight and Human Sunset actually get along, and perhaps are in a boarding school somewhere.
Except, what’s canon about that? Did more information come out that I haven’t heard yet?
I think he means these are the versions that already existed in the EqG universe, as opposed to their counterparts who turned into them when they crossed over.
