Well, not all Sonic fans are like that, and neither are bronies, just remember. Some are more positive, or nicer.
 
Y’know, one of the character concept art they showed for the upcoming “Sonic Boom” show looked like a redesigned Emerl. Wonder if that was him. Would be coolies. (I’m a sucker for old/obscure characters returning.)
 
Yeah, it’s a great show, but I don’t worship it, nor Sonic. Don’t get me wrong though, most bronies I’ve talked to are pretty cool, it’s just random fanbrats/haters online that get annoying.

Eh… I usually avoid the Sonic Fandom. Why I would care about it? It’s full of kids and adults that hates everything. And like you, I am a casual Sonic fan… I guess… Sometimes I am watching epic Sonic art in DA and Emerl is one of my favorite charactes.
 
I am meh with the brony thing. I rarely watch the show and I don’t find it as “DA BEST SHOW EVAR!”.

The drama was one of the reasons I haven’t been very active in the Sonic fanbase. I’m more of a casual Sonic fan, and casual brony overall.
 
Only Sonic games I had issues with personally were some of the Game Gear ones, (though “Tails Adventure” was AWESOME, and needs more love) “Secret Rings,” and the Sonic2006 game. I actually did like most of the ones you mentioned though, I even liked the Shadow game, dispite it’s issues.  
I also been subscribing to the Sonic comics for years, and have the TV shows on DVD. (Including Sonic Underground, which admittedly, I’m not to big a fan of. The other shows were amusing though.)
 
As much as I try to defend the brony fanbase, I really get tired of bronies (mostly ones on this site) trying to hate on Sonic, or his fans. Even on decent Sonic pics I see people trying to start drama on them, or say “lol sanik sux.”  
I saw one bash Sonic fans for making recolor fan-characters, I looked in his gallery, said person DRAWS pony recolor OCs. How ironic is that?  
In fact, I see other many similarities between the fanbases. Remember the “Twilicorn” drama? Back around that time a similar drama happened over a Sonic comic character named “Princess Sally” getting a new outfit/redesign. Fans were saying, “She wasn’t Sally anymore,” said they were going to stop supporting the comics, and all kinds of things… Some were even hassling writer Ian Flynn about it, even though technically it was artist Ben Bates who did the redesign.  
(Sound like the “Twilicorn” drama, doesn’t it?)
 
And personally, I have nothing against Sally’s new outfit, or Twilight’s wings, but to each their own…

It’s ok dude. I am tired of the this unecessary hate. This stupid Sonic drama sick me too.
 
I haven’t played a lot of sonic games… no Wait… I have played a plenty of them! (Sonic Heroes, Sonic Adventure/XD, Sonic Adventure and Two Battle, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Generations, Sonic Colors, Sonic Rush and 2, the three first Sonics, Sonic Battle and the Sonic Advance Trilogy.) And I can say that I don’t find any problem with those games. Heck, I just played Shadow the Hedgehog for GameCube just to find all the flaws and glitches and shit, and I cannot find them :/
 
Believe me, I get annoyed when people “bash” the Sonic Fans, especially when they make mouthpieces of ponies bashing the Sonic pics in Derpibooru. You need to know that trolls upload bad Sonic MLP pics just to make worse the things. And I always laught when some pony fans still use the old phrase “Love and Tolerance” or “We are good to everyone”… one guy said one of the previous phrases and I replied “And what about Sonic? Can we get tolerate and love Sonic too?”… He said the Sonic and the fandom was the exception, Period.

Yeah, the “Sonic flood” from a few days ago was a bit annoying, (alot of it was even just reuploads, so it was likely somebody or a few trolling Derpibooru) but alot of people here downvote Sonic stuff, regardless if it’s good, or bad even before then. It’s just to “trendy” to hate the hedgehog lately on the internetz.  
(Here’s something fun to do, go to a random gaming board, mention Sonic, and watch people go nuts.)
 
I admit some of his recent games/directions have been “hit, or miss,” and I don’t love every Sonic game either, but I still like the series, and never got why Sonic has become such a “love him, or loathe him with every ounce of your being” character.  
I wish I could find more people with a NEUTRAL opinion on the character/series…
 
It’s a shame really, Sonic’s the only character that has that bias around the site… One guy here even gave me crap for being a “Sonic fan,” and I saw another guy remark Sonic art/fans should be “purged” from Derpibooru. Even if he was kidding, he ironically sounds like those same people who want to purge ponies from the internet. lol  
It’s kinda ironic when you see bronies bash Sonic fans honestly.
 
Sorry, if I’m going on a bit of a rant here, just sick of the “Sanik drama.”

People get tired of the flood that they doesn’t care if is good art of not. If is Sonic, downvote it.

These actually aren’t bad. Though, Trixie looks like a boy. (Maybe it’s the lack of eyelashes.)
 
Also, looks like people aren’t being respectable about voting like you wanted. (I can understand downvoting all those crappy “copy-and-paste” Sonic images we got flooded with a few days ago, but this? There’s nothing wrong with this.)
