Six episodes in, myself, but essentially this. I really enjoy watching Pearl, Amethyst, and Garnet. They seem really relatable, too.
Steven just strikes me as being very much a child. The gems love him anyway, which is neat. Kids aren’t going to have the knowledge or maturity to know what—or what not—to do. Sometimes people have to be patient with them anyway. :)

I also want to point out that Steven CAN be annoying sometimes. But don’t let that turn you off of the show. In later episodes this season he definitely grows up quite a bit and learns more mature lessons while still being a kid at heart.
Though I think I stand with everyone else when I say that the real stars are Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. The Crystal Gems are badass.
It’s amazing! I’m still conflicted as to whether I like it more than MLP or not (and the first season isn’t even done, so that’s saying something).
Every character is diverse and loveable. Not to mention the show has the best art style and OST I’ve seen in a damned long while.
If you’re thinking of watching it, there’s a few random episodes up on Youtube. But watch a few of them before forming an opinion, it takes a few episodes to really get to know the characters. :)

Alrighty, I think Pearl’s legs should be a li’l longer to, but they all look great. I also like how their eyes, and expressions look similar to the show. :)
I’m planning to redo this sometime soon. I’ll keep the chubbiness in mind for it :3
Nope. It’s got a Second Season being produced too.
It’s just on an unexpected hiatus. Apparently they’ve decided to take the remaining episodes of the season and put them into Season 2 instead so I guess we’ll have to wait for a bit until more episodes are ready, then they’ll probably air again.
