till g4 ponies ends, im taking the comics as cannon untill its not canon anymore, kind of like how starwars was, after the first movie there was a crap ton of extended universe and spinoff that was excellent, till the next movie took place, than it was all retconned.
At the IDW panel at Bronycon, they said that the comics are “canon canon” according to Hasbro.

yea, they are closer than that, comics are more or less extended cannon if i remember right.
still like the idea of a neglectful cadence. she should be on shinings bed with twilight screwing with the outlet though.
